Stretch out by the pool on weekends or explore the many trails for hiking, biking, and jogging throughout the area. Belmont Terrace is just a few blocks away from lots of stores and restaurants, many clustered around the intersection of Ralston and Alameda del las Pulgas. If you just need to grab a few groceries for dinner, Safeway and Lunardi's Market, a specialty grocery store, are nearby. Or if you'd rather dine out and have someone else cook for you, you can choose from several restaurants in the area. Keep an eye out for those small, "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants - Belmont residents rave about these hidden gems in the city! You can also easily get to Hwys. 280, 101, and 92 from Belmont Terrace - spend the day up in San Francisco or exploring downtown San Jose.
